After the recent launch of two regional steel billet contracts, the LME is also conducting a training course in Kuala Lumpur on 8 October 2008 designed to provide an in-depth overview of how hedging and trading are done on the LME and explain how physical delivery into an LME warehouse takes place. LME Steel Pricing and Risk Management assists those in the steel and associated industries to understand how LME futures contracts can enhance your business and help you manage price risk.
The course aims at assisting people involved in pricing physical transactions and in assessing risk management tools in the steel industry. The courses are suitable for those individuals who work within physical sales, procurement, treasury and risk management.
This course is part of a programme of events across Asia designed to give you a clear understanding of how LME futures contracts can enhance your business and help your organisation manage price risk.
