On Tuesday 9th February, the LME hosted a cocktail reception to celebrate the launch of the minor metals contracts. Held on the LME’s open-outcry trading floor known as the ‘Ring’, more than 250 guests from across the industry and around the world converged to mark the launch of the first cobalt and molybdenum futures contracts.
The LME cobalt and molybdenum futures contracts launch on 22 February.
