Abstract: An amendment has been made to Special Rule 1 regarding the quality of metal that may be delivered under the Special High Grade Zinc Contract. In addition to the contract standard BS EN 1179:2003 entitled “Zinc and Zinc Alloys – Primary Zinc”, zinc may be delivered providing it conforms to either the Chinese standard GB/T 470-2008 entitled “Zinc ingots”, the ISO 752:2004 standard entitled “Zinc ingots” or the USA Standard ASTM B6-12 entitled “Standard Specification for Zinc”.
