10 February 2010 Cobalt & Molybdenum Seminar - London
With the launch of the first cobalt and molybdenum futures contracts only weeks away, the LME and Metal-Pages hosted Cobalt and Molybdenum 2010, a one day seminar focusing on the new contracts and there place in the industry.The event began on the evening of Tuesday 9th February with more than 250 guests from across the industry and around the world attending a launch party on the LME Ring; the open-outcry trading floor where the cobalt and molybdenum prices will be established everyday at 12.20 from February 22.
The following day the Cobalt and Molybdenum Seminar brought attendees together with experts from the financial and cobalt and molybdenum industries. Martin Abbott, Chief Executive of the LME opened the seminar with an address on ‘Managing minor metals risk with the LME’, paving the way for a programme full of interesting presentations and dynamic panel discussions on the topics of:
