Mike, aged 51, has spent his entire career in the technology sector with some of the most successful global companies. He is renowned for his unique combination of a truly global experience set, outstanding strategic abilities, and strong operational and change management skills. Most recently he was Chairman of Alphamosaic Ltd and led the successful sale of that company to Broadcom, Inc for $125M.
He has held a number of directorships, and is currently Chairman of Frontier Silicon Ltd, Chairman of Phyworks Ltd, Chairman of Corvil Ltd, Chairman of Red M Communications Ltd, Chairman of Via Networks, Inc, a non executive director of Pace Micro Technology plc, a director of London Metal Exchange Holdings Ltd, and a non executive director of Alliance & Leicester plc. Mike is also a member of the technology advisory board of Apax Partners. Previously he was Chairman & CEO of Carrier1 International SA, and before that Executive Director & Chief Executive, Global Operations of Cable & Wireless plc. Prior to these experiences, Mike spent 5 years with Philips of the Netherlands, 5 years with Motorola, and 10 years with GE.
