We recognise the importance of regulation in our market and support all regulatory efforts aimed at enhancing the transparency and accountability framework against which businesses must be evaluated.
The LME and LME Clear are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains. Our Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the LME has published its Gender Pay Gap Report, and we are pleased to do so, as we believe that the transparency created through gender pay gap reporting is a critical tool in understanding, managing and addressing perpetuating gender equality issues. We are also voluntarily reporting the figures for LME Group (the LME and its clearing house, LME Clear), which aligns with our commitment to transparency in our efforts to bring greater gender equality to our business and the wider industry.
