What is a Derived Data Licence?

Customers who would like to receive LME data for the purpose of manipulating it or combining it with other data in order to create derived information or a derived product, such as an index, may be subject to a separate licence agreement.

Who is it for?

Firms who create derived information or derived products using LME as a constituent. Examples of derived data include (but not limited to):

  • Indexes
  • Exchange Traded Products (including ETFs, ETCs, ETNs)
  • Contracts for Difference (CFDs)

How much does it cost?

Fees vary depending on the particular use case.
