Bonnie Y Chan was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited on 1 March 2024.

Ms Chan brings more than 30 years of global capital markets leadership and expertise. She has played a leading role in supporting the transformation of Hong Kong’s listed market and infrastructure, enhancing market quality, attractiveness, and efficiency, and helping position HKEX as a leading global exchange group.

Ms Chan has held leadership roles in legal and financial services with Asia-Pacific and global responsibilities. Before becoming CEO, Ms Chan was HKEX’s Co-Chief Operating Officer, where she oversaw the Group’s key operational and strategic functions. Ms Chan first joined HKEX as Head of IPO Transactions in 2007 from Morgan Stanley, where she spent four years leading the legal function for the investment bank’s Asia capital markets business. She rejoined HKEX in 2020 as Head of Listing, after serving as a partner at international law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell focusing on capital markets between 2010 and 2019.

Ms Chan is a frequent contributor to the World Economic Forum and is a member of the Forum’s Centre for Financial and Monetary Systems Advisory Council.

In Hong Kong, Ms Chan served as a member of the Financial Services Development Council between 2015 and 2018, and was a member of its Board of Directors between 2019 and 2020. She was also a member of the Standing Committee of Company Law Reform and the Disciplinary Panel of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms Chan was recognised as one of the World Federation of Exchanges’ Women Leaders between 2021 and 2023. She was also recognised among IFLR1000’s Asia Best Lawyers in 2019 and was named The American Lawyer’s Dealmaker of the Year in 2018.

Ms Chan holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hong Kong and a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School. She is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and an attorney at law in New York State.

陳翊庭

集團行政總裁 ,香港交易及結算有限公司（香港交易所）

陳翊庭於2024年3月1日獲委任為香港交易及結算所有限公司集團行政總裁。

陳女士在環球金融市場累積逾30年的管理經驗，在推動香港上市制度改革、優化基礎設施、以及提升香港市場的質素、吸引力和效率方面貢獻良多，鞏固了香港交易所作為國際領先交易所集團的地位。

陳女士曾在亞太區和全球的法律和金融服務領域擔任高級管理職務。在升任為香港交易所集團行政總裁前，陳女士擔任集團的聯席營運總監，負責領導集團主要的營運部門及戰略規劃。陳女士於2007年首次加入香港交易所擔任上市科首次公開招股交易部主管，並於2020年再次加入香港交易所擔任上市科主管。此前，陳女士曾在投資銀行摩根士丹利工作，領導其亞洲資本市場業務的法律部門長達四年；亦於2010至2019年擔任國際律師事務所達維律師事務所的合夥人，負責資本市場業務。

陳女士經常參與世界經濟論壇（WEF）舉辦的年會和活動，就不同的議題發表見解。她也是世界經濟論壇「金融和貨幣系統諮詢委員會」的成員。

陳女士曾於2015至2018年出任香港金融發展局成員，並於2019至2020年擔任該局的董事會成員。她曾任公司法改革常務委員會及香港會計師公會紀律小組成員。

陳女士於2021至2023年連續三年被評為世界交易所聯合會（WFE）年度女性領袖之一。她亦曾被The American Lawyer評為2018年度最佳交易律師，並被IFLR1000評為2019年度亞洲最佳律師。

陳女士持有香港大學法學學士學位及哈佛法學院法學碩士學位。她擁有香港事務律師和美國紐約州的律師資格.

Matthew Chamberlain is the CEO of the London Metal Exchange and a member of the Management Committee of HKEX Group.

Matthew joined the LME in 2012, having advised HKEX on the acquisition of the LME while at UBS. He started his career at Citibank, and holds an MA from Trinity College, Cambridge.

Ms. Lillian Chan is the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Lee Kee Group (HKEX: 637). She is overseeing the Group’s business operation and takes a leading role in the strategic direction of the group in particular to ESG and Sustainable development.

With more than 20 years of experience in the metal industry, Ms. Chan has served the manufacturing sectors across Greater China and Southeast Asia. She possesses expertise in metal purchasing, supply chain management in metals, warehousing, and sustainability in metals manufacturing.

Mr Paul Chow is Group Chief Sustainability Officer and Group General Counsel at HKEX and is a member of its Management Committee.

Based in Hong Kong, he heads up the Group’s Legal & Secretariat functions, overseeing the Legal and Secretarial Services teams globally. He also provides strategic legal counsel to the HKEX Board and Senior Management team.

In addition, Mr Chow oversees the Sustainability function at HKEX, encompassing the Corporate Responsibility & Foundation team and the Carbon & ESG Product team. In this role, he is responsible for driving the Group's sustainability strategies that align with HKEX’s purpose and long-term goals.

Prior to joining HKEX in 2021, Mr Chow worked at Cathay Pacific Airways where he was Group General Counsel and Company Secretary. Before working in-house, he was a partner at Davis Polk Wardwell LLP, Linklaters and Slaughter and May, bringing broad experience from both private practice and as in-house counsel, along with specific expertise in corporate finance and capital markets.

Outside of HKEX, he is a member of the Supervisory Committee of Tracker Fund of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Standing Committee on Company Law Reform, Funds Management Sub- Committee of the Hong Kong Housing Authority, Resolvability Review Tribunal and Standing Committee on Compliance of the Law Society of Hong Kong.

Mr Chow holds a Bachelor of Laws from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Master of Science in Global Business from the Chinese University of Hong Kong

Lan Gao is the Chief Representative of the International Tin Association (ITA) in China, responsible for managing the ITA China office, engaging with domestic tin stakeholders, supporting tin market research and implementing ITA's technology and sustainability goals in China.

Lan Gao joined ITA in 2022. Prior to that, she had over 20 years of experience in the metals sector. She began her career at Beijing Antaike Information Co., Ltd., where she spent 11 years as Editor-in-Chief of the China Metal Market English publication.

She then worked for a decade as Secretary-General of the China Rare Earth Standardization Technical Committee and was the inaugural secretary of ISO/TC 298 Rare Earth.

Lan's educational background was in metallurgy, graduating from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 1996 with a bachelor degree.

Georgina is the Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of Physical Markets for the London Metal Exchange. 

She is responsible for leading the LME’s work on sustainability, including LME responsible sourcing (ensuring producers of LME-listed metals meet globally accepted standards for the sourcing of metals) and LMEpassport (a centralised digital repository for ESG information for LME-listed metals), as well as the operations of its physical warehouse network and approved brands lists for metals traded on the Exchange. 

Georgina has worked at the LME since September 2012, initially in research and analytics.  She began her career at Euromoney Institutional Investor and has a doctorate in psychology.

Michael Haslett has been in the Aluminium department at Glencore since 2019. He has worked in the metals industry for 20 years, including running EMEA Institutional Commodity Sales at Barclays and metals trading at ECTP.

Previously Mike was a professional rugby player with Ulster and London Irish. He holds MA and LLM law degrees from Cambridge University.

Anant is the Founder and CIO of Greenland Investment Management, a systematic commodities manager. 

He is an industry veteran with over 18 years of systematic investing experience.

Prior to Greenland, Anant co-founded India's first onshore hedge fund, Forefront Capital Management. 

He successfully sold Forefront to Edelweiss Financial Services in 2014. 

Prior to Forefront, Anant was a portfolio manager at AQR Capital as part of the Global Stock Selection team. 

Anant graduated from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology (M&T) from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics and a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering.

Mr. Lam is an Assistant Vice President of the London Metal Exchange (LME) and is based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for the LME's business development in Greater China, with a focus to expand its ferrous metals market.

He has more than 15 years of professional experience in the commodities sector and has specialised in the fields of derivatives trading and metals industry analysis. He acquired hands-on experience from previous roles at Morgan Stanley, S&P Global and steel trading firm prior to joining the LME in 2022.

Mr. Lam holds Master of Science degrees from Imperial College London and the University of Glasgow.

Jason Li holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He began his career in international logistics in 1997 in Shanghai, China, and has specialised in bulk commodity and non-ferrous metal logistics since 2004. In 2009, Jason joined GKE Metals Logistics Pte Ltd—an LME-approved logistics warehouse operator—as General Manager for the Greater China region. In 2013, he was promoted to General Manager of the Marketing Department at the company’s Singapore headquarters and now serves as the Chief Executive Officer.

With over 27 years of professional experience in international freight forwarding and logistics—more than 20 of which have been dedicated to bulk commodities, non-ferrous metal deliveries, and related financial futures trading—Jason is well-versed in industry regulations, operational workflows, and enterprise management. He excels in designing efficient supply chain solutions for non-ferrous metals, mineral resources, and the new energy sector, and has played a key role in driving market expansion and global strategic growth.

Jason is a proven leader in managing multicultural teams and navigating complex international business environments, ensuring seamless execution and global alignment. With a deep understanding of regulatory systems and commercial landscapes across the Asia-Pacific region and major global markets—as well as strong foresight in market trends and risk management—he is committed to delivering high-quality, reliable, and comprehensive logistics services to clients, commodity exchanges, and partners worldwide.

Alice is the Head of CEO Office and Corporate Sustainability at the London Metal Exchange (LME).

Alice’s role involves the creation and execution of sustainability-related strategy which includes leading the work on the LME’s net-zero strategy, sustainability and CSR reporting.

Within her CEO Office capacity, Alice’s role involves the development of company-wide strategy, overseeing cross-functional high-profile projects and Board engagement & reporting. Alice joined the LME in 2019, having previously worked at Morgan Stanley

Yang  Liu  is the Head of China Client Development at the London Metal Exchange, responsible for developing LME’s footprint in China and emerging markets.

Ms Yang has over 20 years of experience from brokerage and investment banks in the commodity sector, with a focus on industrial background clients in the Asia Pacific region.

Ms Yang has well-rounded knowledge and expertise to help her clients maximise potential in financing, hedging and trading. Prior to joining the LME in 2016, Ms Yang worked as Director of Standard Chartered Bank and Senior Account executive for Category 1 LME member such as Natixis and Sucden Financials.

Ms Yang has Master’s degree in Management and Finance from the University of Bath.

Chi joined Argus in 2017 in London to help expand its European ferrous scrap coverage.

He was relocated to Singapore in 2023 and now oversees Argus’ metals and scrap coverage in Asia. Chi began his journey in the metal industry in 2011 and has experience in steel, ferroalloys, minor metals and base metals. Chi graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in electrical and electronic engineering. 

Found in 1970, Argus Media is the leading independent provider of market intelligence to the global energy and commodity markets.

Serena How is the Head of Warehouse Operations at the London Metal Exchange, with experience in warehousing and logistics since 1997.

Within the LME, Serena is responsible for a team overseeing the Exchange’s warehousing network which includes managing the audit and inspections of warehouses.

Serena has worked for the LME since 2015, when Serena joined as Vice President, Asia Operations within LME Physical Operations (now SPM Operations). Prior to joining the LME, Serena worked at an LME-listed warehousing company from 1997 to 2015, where she held roles supporting warehouse operations and administration.

Richard holds a Bachelor degree of Information Engineering and Master degree of Finance from the University of Hong Kong. After his study, Richard started his career at HSBC.

Later, he joined Rabobank and traded structured products, warrants and CBBC. Together with his team, he developed and validated new models and designed new structured products. In 2009, he joined All Options Asia Holding as a junior trader, responsible for market making in the Hong Kong stock options and index options. Besides, he has also traded different indices options (Korea, Japan, Europe and US).

He was registered by the SFC as Licensed Representative for Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 2 (Dealing in Futures Contracts). In 2011, he joined LT Securities Limited as a trader, in charge of the setup of the market making and quantitative desk.

In 2013 Richard founded Smart Wise Financial Holding, mainly focus on proprietary trading with quantitative research and programming trading. In recent years, he has been constantly developing new trading strategies of different types while managing and refining the current portfolio of trading strategies. Besides, he leads a team of quantitative researchers to build an innovative research platform that makes the research process more streamlined, productive, adaptive and intelligent. Currently Richard is the responsible officer of Legend Arb Advisor Limited, one of the Legend Arb group subsidiaries, for Type 4 (Advising on Securities), Type 5 (Advising on Futures Contracts) and Type 9 (Asset Management) regulated activities.”

Nicholas Snowdon heads the metals and mining research at Mercuria Energy Trading.

He brings 17 years of experience in the commodity trading industry previous to that, most recently working at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director, Head of Metals Research. Previously, he was with Deutsche Bank as Director, Base Metals and Bulks Strategist for 2 years.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Durham and a Master’s degree in Development Economics and Finance from the London University, School of Oriental and African Studies. 

Based in London, Sudakshina is the Bank’s base metals analyst. Prior to this, she worked for a decade in commodities research at Barclays, focusing on base metals, agricultural commodities and cross-commodity analysis. Sudakshina holds a Masters in international political economy from the London School of Economics; a Master’s in nationalism studies from the University of Edinburgh; and a BA (Hons) in history from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.

Henry Van is Head of Industrial Metals Analysis for Trafigura, a leading commodities group. He helps to shape the company’s views on metals and minerals markets and the economic outlook, with a particular focus on industrial metals. Prior to joining Trafigura in 2019, Henry worked as a commodity analyst at CRU and S&P Global, with a focus on metals and industrial power consumption.

Dr Guy Wolf is the Global Head of Market Analytics at Marex, one of the world's largest financial services providers in the commodities sector. He oversees the firm's data initiatives which encompass algorithmic execution design, quantitative research and alternative data.

Marex works with a number of partners, primarily in the field of geo-spatial analysis, to develop environmental monitoring intelligence products for commodity market participants. 

Dr Wolf is a Business Fellow at the University of Oxford Smith School of Enterprise and Environment, spearheading research into technology-driven climate impact solutions.

A CFA charterholder, Dr Wolf holds a MSocSci and PhD in Economics from the University of Cape Town, focused on Game Theory, and read PPE at Exeter College, the University of Oxford.

Mr Benjamin Wong is the Head of Transport, Logistics & Industrials of InvestHK, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.   

He has a diversified portfolio covering commodity trading, mobility, aviation, maritime, energy, logistics and industrials.   

He is a member of the Engineering Discipline Advisory Board, Hong Kong Vocational Training Council; and member of the Maritime and Port Development Committee, the Manpower Development Committee and the Promotion and Event Committee of the HK Maritime and Port Board.   

He is also a member of the Trade Development Council’s Logistics Services Advisory Committee.   

For the period of Dec 2022 to Sept 2024, Mr Wong was posted to set up the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES) of Financial Secretary’s Office. He was in charge of attracting strategic enterprises in the new energy, new materials technology and advanced manufacturing sectors.   

This office is established to attract strategic investments proactively, with bespoke package, to enhance Hong Kong's competitiveness and speeding up industry development.

Before joining the SAR Government, Mr Wong has spent years with major European and American companies with regional responsibilities.   

With extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, Mr Wong’s expertise combines business knowledge covering economic development, international marketing and investment promotion. 

Mr Wong holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong; a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta, Canada.   

He has attended Peking University’s National Affairs Studies Programme and Shanghai Fudan University’s MBA exchange programme. Mr Wong is an Alumni Career Advisor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and MBA “Leadership and Excellence and Advance Programme” Advisor of Chinese University of Hong Kong.   

He is a lifetime member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Society, an international academic honour society.   

And he has been named as the “Top 100 Chinese in the Maritime Industry” by Beyond Shipping Media in 2020

Dale joined Cumic in 2017 to help expand its steel business in East Asia area.

He started his journey in the metal industry in 2007 and has experience in iron ore, cocking coal and steel products. He is in charge of Sales and Purchase in the East Asia countries including Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan province. 

Dale Holds Master of management degree and Master of Law degree.

Lei Yao is the CEO of BOCI Global Commodities (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of BOC International, the investment bank wholly owned by Bank of China.

Beginning his career in commodities in 2002 at Glencore, Mr. Yao developed valuable insights into physical trading and broader market dynamics.

His experience at AMC Group further broadened his expertise across physical trading, futures, and derivatives, laying a solid foundation for his work in international markets. Since joining BOCI in 2012, Mr. Yao has played a key role in the firm’s milestone achievement as the first Chinese financial institution to secure clearing membership at both the London Metal Exchange (LME) and ICE Futures Europe.

Today, under his steady leadership, BOCI Global Commodities (UK) Limited provides integrated financial solutions — including clearing services, futures and derivatives trading, warrant trading, and comprehensive risk management — to clients around the world.

Catherine Zhang is a Vice President and responsible for LME Business Development based in Hong Kong SAR.

Ms. Zhang has about 20 years of financial experience in both Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR by starting her career at China Guangfa Bank in Beijing. 

Since joining HKEX Group in 2013, she has been performing multiple roles in commodity sector covering sales and marketing as well as derivatives products development. Currently she manages regional clients in Greater China for the LME, with a focus on financial and physical institutions who are active in non-ferrous and EV markets. 

Ms. Zhang holds M.Phil from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

张贝贝女士是伦敦金属交易所市场发展副总裁，常驻香港负责伦敦金属交易所大中华区业务发展。

张女士拥有近20年中国内地和香港大型金融机构工作经验。在2013年加入香港交易所之后，她先后涉及大宗商品销售、营销及金融衍生品研发等工作。目前负责伦敦金属交易所大中华区客户，包括金融机构和有色金属及电动汽车相关领域实体企业。

张女士拥有香港理工大学哲学硕士学位。
