Anuj Bareja is a transformational engineering professional with 25+ years of proven history in metallurgic trading, operations management, research and development, technical marketing, and cross-functional team leadership within the natural resources industry.

As the Founder & Managing Director of Asier Metals Pvt. Ltd, he set up India’s’ first global trading housing with expertise to handle metals like, refined metals, scrap, ferro alloys, and precious metals.

Mr Bareja holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, (1st Division), (Specialisation in Marketing) from Centre for Management Development, in Modinagar, and a Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (1st Division with Distinction) from Maharashtra College of Engineering.

Dr. Aggarwal is the Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered  Accountants of India (ICAI) with over three decades of experience in the securities market & financial services. He is also Former National President – PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (2019- 20), currently Chairman & Managing Director - SMC Investments and Advisors Ltd. and Chairman – Golf Federation of 
India.

Kiran Jani has over 15 years of experience as a trader and technical analyst in India's financial markets.

He is a well-known face on the business channels as Market Experts and has worked with Asit C Mehta, Kotak Commodities, and Axis Securities. Presently, he is Head of the Technical and Derivative Research Desk and Head of the Institutional Desk at Jainam Broking Limited.

• Experience for nearly 30 years as a macroeconomist and analyst, tracking closely business cycles, economic policies, currency and commodity markets.
• Prior stints included work at the Aditya Birla Group and Hindalco, Tata Group, Economic Times and Maharashtra Economic Development Council.
• Masters degrees in Economics, Finance and Business Administration.
• Columnist and co-author of "Recovery, Reforms and Resilience in India - An assessment of Modi Macroeconomics" (Konark Publications, 2019).

Mrugank Paranjape, Managing Partner MC³, is a renowned expert and consultant in Capital & Commodities Markets and the Non Executive Independent Director in the Central Board of the State Bank of India & Oracle Financial Services Software, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Sewa International.

Started just a year ago, MC³ already has 5 marquee clients across custody, commodities, exchange and securities services. In August 2023, Mrugank demitted office as the MD & CEO of NCDEX eMarkets Private Limited – where he was instrumental in the Company’s foray into the ESG space and laying foundations for the companies expansion into all commodity related domains. In May 2019, he completed his 3 year term as the MD & CEO of the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) – where he was instrumental in the resurgence of MCX following its troubled legacy and re-established the brand as well the leadership position of the Exchange.

From 2005 – 2016 he worked with the Deutsche Bank Group – where he held several leadership positions in India and Singapore in Deutsche Banks’s Global Transaction Banking division. In 2012, he
was awarded the “Custodian Banker of the Year” by the Asian Investor Magazine.

Mrugank has earlier worked in various leadership and managerial roles in Asset Management, Stock Broking & Retail Banking.

He is an alumnus of IIT Mumbai (B Tech, Electrical Engineering) and IIM Ahmedabad (PGDM with Specialization in Information Systems).

Piyush Agarwal is currently Head Price Risk Management at Hindalco, Non-Ferrous Metals Flagship company of Aditya Birla Group.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, he has spent two decades with the company, having worked in various SBU’s right from Mining, Alumina to Aluminium.

Robin Martin joined the LME in March 2018 and leads the company’s business development activities covering strategy & research, member & client relationship management, product development, and overseeing the LME’s change portfolio office. He is a member of the LME and LME Clear Executive Committees. 

Before joining the company, Robin worked at the World Gold Council for five years leading the organisation’s market infrastructure initiatives to develop the transparency and efficiency of the global gold market.

Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years at Accenture as a senior management consultant focusing on business strategy and transformation projects for capital markets clients.

Robin holds a master’s degree in International Securities, Investment & Banking from ICMA Centre and a first class degree in Management Science & IT from Alliance Manchester Business School.

Shivani Singh, based in London, is S&P Global Commodity Insight’s Associate Regional Pricing Director EMEA Metals leading the teams for both ferrous and non-ferrous market coverage within the Europe Middle East and Africa region.

She has spent close to two decades covering global commodities and equities markets. Prior to joining Platts in Singapore where she managed the Asia steel and scrap team, she was based in Beijing as Chief Correspondent, China Commodities & Energy at Reuters for three years, where she led a team of journalists covering the top consumer of commodities and energy such as metals, soybean, crude oil, gas, steel, pork.

Previously, she was based in Singapore as Asia Editor at Fastmarkets and was responsible for non-ferrous, ores and alloys coverage in the Asian region for several years.

Viral Shah, President and Head of Brokerage at 360 ONE Wealth is a financial markets veteran with more than 20 years of experience in brokering, risk management, product development, onshore and offshore commodities hedging as well as wealth management.

Starting his career with Refco in 2002, he has successfully managed businesses at the top brokerage houses in India.

In his current role, he has been able to create a niche by positioning commodities as an alternative asset class in the wealth management set up.

Under his leadership, IIFL Wealth (360 ONE Wealth) started the metals delivery business in 2019 and scaled it up to become the largest metals futures broker in India, bagging the award for the “Leading broker in physical delivery business” for FY20, FY21 and FY22 by MCX.

He is an active participant and an invited member in many regulatory, industry associations and exchange product advisories for developing the commodities ecosystem in India. 

Yang  Liu  is the Senior Vice President, Market Development at the London Metal Exchange, responsible for developing LME’s footprint in China and emerging markets.

Ms Yang has over 20 years of experience from brokerage and investment banks in the commodity sector, with a focus on industrial background clients in the Asia Pacific region.

Ms Yang has well-rounded knowledge and expertise to help her clients maximise potential in financing, hedging and trading. Prior to joining the LME in 2016, Ms Yang worked as Director of Standard Chartered Bank and Senior Account executive for Category 1 LME member such as Natixis and Sucden Financials.

Ms Yang has Master’s degree in Management and Finance from the University of Bath.
