The new trading platform, LMEselect v10, will be built on an entirely new architecture and split along two segments – futures and options.
This will enable the two markets to operate side-by-side without one affecting the performance of the other (on-screen options markets are typically message-heavy). The separation will also allow for more efficient, derivative-specific development.
