The London Metal Exchange (LME) is celebrating Black History Month throughout October.
The LME kicked off this month's events on 3 October, when we hosted an exciting evening in the Ring with Barbadian cricketer Sir Gordon Greenidge MBE. The evening included a panel discussion, music and dancing!
We also were introduced to an amazing charity called “Driven by US" who’s mission is to help people succeed in motorsport regardless of their gender, colour and ethnicity.
Wear Red Day 2023
We are encouraging colleagues to dress down and wear red on Wednesday 18 October, to mark Wear Red Day 2023.
This is a campaign run by Show Racism the Red Card – a charity which aims to challenge misconceptions, stereotypes and negative attitudes in society.
Windrush 75 exhibition
To help shine a light on the Windrush period, we’ll be hosting an exhibition on the mezzanine in the Ring, curated by the LMEtogether network members.
