These are published daily, monthly and annually. Delayed volume data is also available by metal and LME licensed data vendors display real-time volumes.
Daily volumes
Daily volume reports are available on the website by close of business each business day for the previous business day.
Monthly volumes
Published monthly. Show daily and average daily volumes for each metal and contract.
Annual volumes
Published yearly. Shows annual ‘all-contract’, per contract and per metal volumes for the calendar year.
Real-time volumes
Trading volumes by metal, type of contract and trading platform are available from data vendors.
Exchange volume report
A detailed view of volumes by individual contract, outright trades and carry trades, and volumes by trading venue.
Daily trading volumes for previous years are available for purchase.
