LMEselect is the London Metal Exchange’s high performance electronic trading platform. It offers a predictable, deterministic and low latency trading service.
Its tradable hours are 01.00-19.00, Monday-Friday (London time) with pre-trade and post-trade periods 00.45-01.00 and 19.00-19.30 respectively.
Access
LMEselect can be accessed by membership categories 1 to 4 and clients of members via a member using third party applications.
Members and their clients can access in one of three ways:
- FIX 5.0 (SP2) gateway
- Binary gateways
- ISV interface e.g. LMEtrader
The available connectivity options to LMEselect in production are via LMEnet or CDC. In Member test, LMEselect can be accessed via Internet, LMEnet or CDC.
