Information for entities in the EEA wishing to transfer data to the LME Group following a “no deal” or “WTO Rules” Brexit.
Following a “no deal” or “WTO Rules” Brexit, entities in the European Economic Area wishing to transfer personal data to the UK (including to the LME Group) will need to undertake additional steps in order to ensure that they are compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
To assist with this process, such entities can request a set of pre-signed standard contractual clauses from the LME Group by email. They can be countersigned to assist EEA-based entities with their GDPR compliance. Find further information on this process (PDF).
