What is a structured product licence?
Booking fee participants who would like to use LME data in the trading of OTC financial instruments that fulfil specific criteria may opt to licence such transactions under this licence, rather than under the Financial OTC Booking Fee Policy.
Who is it for?
Booking fee participants trading in financial instruments which have a material portion of their market risk made up of any or all of the following characteristics:
- multiple commodity reference prices
- non-vanilla optionality
- other complex derivative structure which is complicated to calculate and report under the FOTCBF Policy.
How do I apply?
A structured products licence can be applied for on the online licensing portal.
