What is the private investor distribution licence?
The private investor distribution licence covers the distribution of real-time, Level 2 LME data to private individuals via a display application.
Who is it for?
The licence is available for LME members and their clients who are located in the jurisdictions below as part of the pilot program. End-user private investors can be located in the same jurisdictions and also in Mainland China.

How much does the licence cost?
Annual fees for licences are currently waived until 31 December 2025. Monthly user fees of $1 per month apply.
How do I apply?
Application for a private investor distribution licence can be completed via the online licensing portal. We will aim to review your application within six weeks of receipt of your submitted order. Please note that this review period may be extended where applicants have not provided all the information requested.
