What is a Distribution Licence?
Customers who wish to distribute LME data outside of their organisation, or to display LME data on a public website/application, require a Distribution Licence.

How much does it cost?
Fees vary depending on whether distribution is real-time, 30 minutes or next day delayed data. The annual licence fee for distributing real-time and/or 30 minutes delayed LME data is $18,000 and there are per user fees for most licence types. Please note the annual licence fee for real time and/or 30 min delayed LME Data will be $20,000 from January 2022.
Next day distribution incurs a one-off fee of $3,500. Please note the one-off fee will be $4,000 from January 2022.
How do I apply?

Application for a Distribution Licence can be complete via the Online Licensing Portal. The LME will aim to review your application within 6 weeks of receipt of your submitted order. Please note that this review period may be extended where applicants have not provided all the information requested.

A Next Day Distribution licence can be applied for and executed electronically on the LME’s Online Licensing Portal.
